We have just witnessed the election of an individual with limited experience, questionable values, demonstrated dislike of the free capitalist system, socialistic ideology, and unwillingness to be honest.  A mannequin with good looks and mesmerizing style said nothing and is now trusted with the highest office in the land.  It clearly demonstrates that a two-party system and polluted career politician well will never give us the leadership, talent, and statesmanship America desperately needs and deserves.

Personal image consultants, media manipulators, and speech writers now manage every politician and election.  We are electing cardboard cut-outs with no substance.  They have the look of a leader, speak with confidence, spout empty promises, and give us hope. Then nothing happens because they are incapable of innovative thinking, independent leadership, or  developing solutions. You want polish, get a shoeshine, you want logical, practical, honest answers go to America’s kitchens, living rooms, and dens. Talk with neighbors and friends at a backyard barbeque.  Listen to two people talking at a bus stop.  These people have the answers, but they may not have the Hollywood look or well-developed mesmerizing style of a career politician.  So, valuable answers get lost among the glitter, rhetoric, sound bites, and emotionalism that have brought us to this critical point in history.
