Public education is a failed social experiment that promotes socialism.  If you need an example of how socialism doesn’t work, look at our public schools.  As a nation, we invest more money in our public school systems, yet have abysmal results. And, public schools are declining at an increasing rate.  Social activists use public schools as their playground.  They also have systematically indoctrinated our children into believing the state is good and capitalists are greedy, heartless, racist, bigoted, enemies of the state.

Basic discipline and respect for authority has disappeared.  The experiment of putting poor students next to good students failed.  Instead of bringing undisciplined, unmotivated, inferior students to a higher level the whole system has spiraled downward.  Busing pupils all over town in order to create a fictitious form of racial balance only led to sleepy students who were assaulted on buses and learned bad habits from bad influences.  Those students who do excel should be saluted because we threw every possible obstacle in their path in the name of social justice.

Public education needs to be dramatically overhauled, but this will not happen as long as socialist legislators and unions stand in the way.  American Statesmen Party parents must take the responsibility to re-educate our children as to the promise and value of capitalism, the honor of individual freedom and responsibility, the true role of government, civic duty, the rewards from honesty, the need for leadership, and having the courage to care.  Real patriotism is lived every day and our children have a right to be proud of America and to stand up for our founding father’s values and vision.
